The Pulaski Chase Cooperative held its 79th Annual Meeting of stockholders on November 12th, 2009 at the Rock Garden in Green Bay.

 

Roger Van Someren from Carlson, Highland & Co. gave the audit report.  Even though the agricultural economy had a tough year financially, our balance sheet is in very good shape and accounts receivable still remains good.

 

Chairman Allen Kohn spoke on behalf of the board. He gave a recap of the cooperative’s financial information, and explained the thoughts behind the remodeling of the hardware store and the decision for changing to ACE Hardware.  Kohn reported that the Board is committed to looking for ways to expand and improve services and products to meet customer/owner needs in a changing marketplace and continue to retire stock if possible.

 

General Manager, Todd Rosvold followed with the manager’s report.  He stated that the past year was challenging, especially with pricing-sales and inventory wise.  He also recognized two co-op employees for their years of service.

 

Ken Aprill – 30 years

John Marsh – 35 years

 

David Hischke was reelected to the board for another 3 year term.  Leon Gohr was also nominated and elected to the board.
